Is there anyone who know about that cities?

I got 11days vacation.

So I'll fly in Paris, and use U-rail, at last fly out from Rome.

I'll go to Paris(4days), Interlaken(Switzeland-2days), Pisa(1day), Firenze(1day), Rome(3days).

But I can't find the best scenery of that cities.

So somebody tell me about that citi's best tourist spot.

And one more thing.

Is there any cheap accommodation for 2 people?

Hello there!

Lucky you, you will enjoy this trip I'm sure.

In Paris, make sure to walk down the Champs Elysees from the Arc de Triomphe to the Louvres (quite a walk but worth it if you have time). Go across the Tuileries Garden (jardin) to walk to the Louvres. If you have time, check out the bridge (pont) Alexandre III on the Seine river.

Not to be missed is of course the Eiffel Tower, the Notre Dame cathedral and the latin quarter close by. If you have time go to Montmartre and the Sacre Coeur there.

Good food there in Paris (croissant, wine etc).

Great food in Italy as well, you will love the pasta and gelati (ice cream). I've never been to Firenze unfortunately but I'm sure it's beautiful there! Rome is a very interesting city with all the history, take the time to walk in these narrow streets of the old town.

Have a nice vacation,

Laure

In Paris, don't go to the airport. If you are flying in to Paris then take 11 days worth of clothing, cameras and accessories with in your hand luggage and the rest in your main suitecase, because the chances of your main suitecase being sent on to somewhere completely different is 100% (based on my sample of 2).

In Pisa you must be carefull if you try to park your car in one of the back alleys behind the tower, instead of far away on the official parking spaces. It is a very expensive mistake.

In Florence I would recommend eating lots of icecream, in addition to the museums. You can ration yourself and it makes the 4th, 5th, ... nth museum still seem worth while.

I would recommend going up into the Alps mountains to walk around (hiking) when in Switzerland. It is fantastic! You won't want to come back down to us again.

Enjoy your vacation!

Pisa(1day), Firenze(1day), Rome(3days).

I can talk to you about those 3... Pisa is a small town basically beside the tower and cathedral (which are fantastic) theres no much to do there (but eating... ) I will try to spend a bit more time in Florence (Firenze) which is great... Lots to see, millions of museums, architecture and the market is great for all sort of goods

Rome is a different beast, you just need to simply get yourself a coffee and walk (you'll be walking on history) theres so much to see that 3 days is the least you need.

I concur with Julius. When in Interlaken, go walking in the alps.

When in Paris I would recomend the open top bus tour for the first couple of days. It takes you to all the major tourist spots and gives you a good idea of where everything is. You can then spend the rest of the trip on foot and on the metro, it really is a brilliant city to walk in.

If you like the more gruesome side you should pay a visit to the catacombs.

At places like the Sacre Couer and the Louvre watch out for the guys who try and tie pieces of string to you or your partners wrist and then demand money from you, they can be very annoying!

Enjoy!
