Dear all,
Need your suggestions on how I can go back to SAP consultant industry......
Graduate with a master degree from NTU(Singapore) with major info system and had been working for about 1 year as an HR regional analyst.
Lots of courses in the last two years of my college were about SAP ERP R/3 but unfortunately I did not take any certificate in SAP ....I actually started working in a Chinese company as a SAP consultant for 3 months in Hangzhou before I got the offer from NTU but I left because of the offer to continue studying.......
But now I really want go back to the industry, no certificate.....only 3 months experience (dunevenno whether that counts...)...
Big thanks for all your attention to this post and many many thanks for your suggestions.........I feel quite lost recently because of losing target in my life... please help...

Request clarification before answering.
Hi,
Why you have such passion on SAP area?
As everyone knows, SAP job means very very busy and hard pressure.

Pure comedy. Thanks for making my day 😄
I feel like I just missed a bus or lost a watch, something of that nature, I always miss out on the fun..... (didn't get to read the unedited version)
But seriously I also had some issues when I first joined this forum, most forums ,even many professional forums, are much more relaxed when it comes to verbage and topic content. It's sort of a culture shock when you join SDN so I feel your pain.
I actualy wish there was a forum on SDN where there are no holds bared (nothing off limits). It would be nice to be able to type btw when adding a detail. or even the good ol OMG that every one loves
Hi ,
you can go back to SAP industry as you are well aware of basic SAP, foremost you can do your certification in SAP HR as you are HR Domain related.this wil help you to understand better SAP HR module.
else try reading documentation for SAP it is avialable in abundant on internet, and also dont forget to read the threads in SAP SDN. this will really help you to understand the different situations and errors you come across in SAP.
there are also companies who intake as junior consultants and train them for future requirement of SAP proffesionals.
All the Best
thanks and regards,
Prashant.

Hello,
What i can suggest regarding your SAP orientation is you should go for some course from a good institute like Siemens which gives certification as well and try to find out out any entry route yourself in the industry, starting with some small company. For you SAP HCM would be better for you to start with if you don't have any module in mind.
We at SDN which we believe is Social Network for Professionals don't want to demotivate a learner so you can come up with any question in future as well you want regarding SAP and there are people who will come forward to help or share some knowledge.
Regarding the language sdn cannot help nor its members, you should have to take care of that but i think we members should also keep in mind not to bully someone hundred times instead focus on what approach or help we can provide.

Shobhit

dunevenno whether tat counts
Hadn't seen this one before and could not help myself to laugh - it reminded me of a character called Brick in a book I read last year.
What is the meaning of the 5 N's? Hadn't seen that before either, however it only reminded me of tank tracks in soft mud so I may be on the wrong track here!?
I dunevenno whether you still want this thread moved to the Career Forum or would prefer to open a new one there?
Cheers,
Julius

heyhey MuRieL,
if you intended to use the same writing style for your letters of application later on, I strongly suggest to better sing the application, publish it to youtube and hope for an employer who loves that kind of creativity.
my valuable 2 cents and a big H-aloo2U,

The language is terrible. Start your MS Word or any other editor, set spellcheck on and prepare the message before posting. This is what I do and think my English is a little better than yours.

Hi Otto,
Really appreciate your suggestion on my lousy writting English even though I still have not realized how terrible it is. Anyway I think I will delete this thread because the only thing I get here is humiliation and sincerely thank you for giving me this lesson. But could you please at least be nicer with a more acceptable tone of speaking when you talk to others which is the basis as a human being on this planet. I am not sure how is your performance in your real life and work but from here, you show me the face of "TERRIBLE".
I am quite new not only here but also my career as a fresh graduate so millions of thanks for your "terrible" lesson.
Regards,
A girl will remember you for ever!
Hi Otto, Really appreciate your suggestion on my lousy writting English even though I still have not realized how terrible it is
Ok, we can argue if I am nice or am not. Nevertheless I only pointed out that any text editor + spellcheck would improve your "performance" and impression of your posts. If you think I am impolite, ok, I can stand it. But before you return the favor of telling me how shocking my behavior is, start the spellcheck, ok?
This was a friendly advise, but it is up to you if you follow,
cheers Otto
Hey dude....
May I apologize for my emotional words the other day?.......I was so not cool and overacted with your comments... because I just realized your comment could have be more serious like "Why you do not take a good look of the whole forum and ask questions...." because I think for me today I can happily accept that....
Just found your post about the beginner of the SAP consultancy......appreciate your helpful and valuable post there.....Sorry sorry and sorry.............
By the way, surely I will remember you in a good way because of that precious post...:)
emmmm....Your English must be much much better than mine because it is not my native language......If you would like to communicate in Chinese or Japanese please....heehee
Have a nice day!
Regards,
M
First of all, reading your SMS style post will aggravate irritation for the members. Try to type without any abbreviated words.
thanks

Hi Julius,
your action clearly shows why retro-fitting edits to forum post are even discouraged in (e.g. ISO) standards because they can render the whole thread completely illegible. You could as well have completely deleting this thread, because the whole 'discussion' was exclusively about what you have been edtiting to your liking (if I remember correctly, you even edited the post with regards to its content because the OP babbled something about his lost boyfriend which is no longer in the edited post...)
IMHO, serious editorial overreaction, maybe you can at least adjust the OP handle to 'muriel616narratedbyJuliusB',

I never notice how formal my language should be as a newbie in this forum. So could you please be like a gentleman and show your kindness? Hope you can always be a master of handling relationship so you never need talk to anyone or to any public place how painful it is (ops, and will not be mocked by a unknow person when you feel bad)...

Hi,
My apology to everyone here for my informal SMS writting style however I really did not mean to do it in that way or offend anyone as a fresh one here. Sincerely appreciate your help in editing because I failed to find the edit button after completion of the post......
Have a nice day!
Regards,
Muriel
You cannot edit a post any more once somebody has replied to it, only moderators can.
Well, your initial post was really an extreme example of SMS speak, plus we are here in the Coffee Corner, which is home to funny threads and sarcastic comments, so take it with Julius, be a sport and start over with a new post in Career Center, now that you have proven that you can write proper English as well.
Thomas
I'm fairly sure that it's in the Rules of Engagement for these forums, which you agreed to when signing up, that SMS type spellings are not permitted. But even if they were, is it really wise to use such in a public, professional forum?
Also, as I've observed many times before, what is just a little harmless banter in one culture is deadly insult in another. And vice versa. Most people don't mean to cause offence, so, especially in a medium without body language, it's a good idea not to take offence too easily.
Hi,
I just thought languages could be casual in a "coffee corner" in this forum at the very beginning......
And you are quite right about the banter and offense.....you know when I took a second on Otto's comment it looks quite acceptable......not sure why I was that emotional at that moment.......
