half allowed to create a question and other un-pretty effects (beta)

I followed the link https://answers.sap.com/index.html

Started a search, but this feature does not work today:

An Internal error has occurred and we are sorry for the inconvenience.

We are doing our best to fix the problem as soon as possible.

So I clicked the the + sign in front of "Actions" and selected

"create a question"

This box is a mix of German and English, probably because the system identified me somehow as using a German browser.

Anyhow, I got the screen to enter a question.

The suggestion on existing discussions did not work.

When I am in the primary tag field the circle of time is continuing for minutes (giving me actually time to explore the screen).

I see that I was not automatically logged in, this prevented the system to search for a primary tag, and also caused the mixture of German and English in the Actions box.

Wouldn't it be much better to tell the user that he shall log in before he gets to the screen to enter a question?

At least when searching for primary tags the user should be told to log in instead of waiting and becoming annoyed because of this never-ending circle of time.

Further I found that uploading a picture for the user tell me that max 10 MB are allowed, but the saving process does not end if the size is bigger than 1 MB.

Hi Moshe...

I still face the same problem.. I decided to try out the beta just today.. (September 21, 2016). I tried to post a test question, but the "primary tag" suggestion just kept on going for hours. I couldn't post a question. I can see that the same problem had been reported earlier by May 2015. But I don't understand how it still exists. I wonder if there's a problem here in my browser. If not, could you please clear this issue?

Hi Jürgen,

We are doing some rework on the embedded search, so currently it's not available, I'm expecting to get an update about it mid next week. This is also true for the type ahead search on the ask page. I'll let you know about the outcome.

Thanks for letting us know about the translation issues.

The issues you raised about asking/primary tag assignment while not being logged on is known and on our radar.
