IIt has been a while since I logged in. I tried to log in with my user name and emale and password and it would not let me. I tried to recover my password but it said there was no account for my emale address. I tried to register for a new account and it said there was an account already with my e address. What a mess, one saying I have an account and one saying I do not. Did not have time to mess with the mess so used another emale address.
PS: I get the message "We are sorry but your message can not be posted since you have used forbidden words/phrases, such as requesting for points, emails etc. Please edit your post according to the forum guidelines and re-post. " for the above message so what the heck??????

Hello
little off topic but important for me: I am an employee, that means that my employer can delete my account any time? I though this account is my business card for all-time work in SAP/ with SAP and don´t want to lose this!!

Hi Otto,
There is a synchronization between the SMP and SDN. If you have an S-account there, then you have an S-account here as well and can also use the SAP Passport.
If your S-account is "managed" by your employer and they can delete the account, then to my knowledge it is deleted here as well. At the least you will no long be able to access it to renew the passport or reset the pwd.
What most people have done is to create a P-account (private). You can also merge the SDN content (posts) from the old S-account to the P-account (contact sdn at sap dot com for this) if you want to retro-fit this.
Others use an S-account tied to their certification. This one is "personal" as well.
The remainder either trust their employers (ha ha.. or they are themselves the basis team (ha ha ha...
Cheers,
Julius
