Hello,
We are facing an issue while implementing FSCM Credit management. The issue is that we want to implement FSCM credit management only for 1 live company code and not for all other live company codes.
We are using only one credit control area across all the company codes.I understand that we can create a new risk class without credit checks (OVA8) and assign it to business partners created for other company codes for which we do not want to activate credit checks In that case credit checks will not happen for those customers of other live company codes for which we do want to activate credit checks. But we do not want to use that solution.
Is there any other way by which I can restrict the credit checks to only one company code and not applicable to all.
Regards,
Mayura
Hi Mayura,
Verify if the check posting for all company codes is no active by FSCM> Credit Management>Integration with Accounts Receivable Accounting and Sales and Distribution>Integration with Accounts Receivable Accounting>Assign Credit Control Area and Credit Segment.
If it´s inactive you should to create one credit control area for every company code without the check. because the BP is used for all company codes and you can´t find direct relation between bp and company code.

Hi Paula,
Thanks for the reply. But we have only one credit control area which is applicable across the company codes.Hence the posting for all company codes is active .
also we do not want to have a one to one relation between company codes and credit control area.
Is there any other way to just exclude other company codes from Credit checks.

Mayura
Hi Mayura,
I think the option is to inactive the flag posting for all company codes in Credit control area and segment.
"If you set this indicator, you tell the system that this credit control area is permitted for postings in every company code you have defined."
I hope it will be the correct answer
