Formatting text as source code in a blog

Hi,

i looked around but found nothing on how to format text in a blog as source code. I tried <pre> but now i have this tag displayed in my view. The toolsbars of the editors dont show up somithing which is useful, and the forum tags are working neither.

Can somebody help me in this?
