Hi,
Well the cup is beginning and all media speak all day long about how well the national team slept last night.
I, personally absolutely don't care because I am absolutely not interested by football.
When saying that to my collegues, I look like an ET for them. I want to know if I'm really an ET among fellow SDN users.
So please, reply to this post if like me you don't like football and wait eagerly to the cup end !

Lol!! if we don't know other modules does it mean we hate those just ignore it.......i dont find any pole useful...Is that all people who hate football will make football .Just kidding...;)
...but old joke i remember...........this only happens in india
Once one minister has been invited as cheif guest for one local football match....and he is not knowing the game. at the end .. prize distriution th minsiter started his speech like this.." I saw this match is very intresting. But sadly for one ball 22 players are fighting , ..This is all because of previous goverment failure....in next time elections please select me again ...I will make sure nxt match every one is going to get seperate ball "

Can't say I don't like football, but I just don't care about any sports whatsoever. So you're not an ET, Olivier. I do hate though when there are Olympic games or some other major event and it's all over TV all the time.
Sometimes I do get pestered by the sports fans, but since it's US and I'm "from Europe", I can always plead ignorance.

WAKA WAKA!!!
I know you're pretending for paying intended devotion to them for what you received from your recent African Safari? This made you to change the party and not to cheer Ottmar HITZFELD's Bafana?
Go Italia Go!!!
p.s. Sorry Olivier i might participated in this poll wrongly
Cheers
Amit.
Hi Olivier,
Without wishing to make you more grumpy, if your poll question is;
reply to this post if like me you don't like football and wait eagerly to the cup end
then you will find 100% of SDNers don't like football.
Unless 'Poll' in the title is a tribute to English referee Graham Poll who infamously gave out three yellow cards to the same player in the last World Cup. But I doubt it.
Regards,
Nick

Ok... so now you have a supporter.
I never liked football, at least watching the whole 90 minutes (plus extra time, injury time, blah blah blah). Penalty shoot-outs can be a little interesting though. I rather watch the highlights (the goal scoring that is).
I find football way too slow paced for my liking. It becomes all too worse when you get hooked on to the American Futball (NFL) or NBA. Cricket? Now thats losing its charm too. Sigh sigh...

ps: For all soccer fanatics, here's a really cool World Cup Calender.
