Hi Moderators,
It was surpristing to note the total reward points were keep flucating. Since last three months i have lost around 100 points and my status degraded from Silver level to Bronze. This issue was posted in PS forums also around 4 to 5 months back but no action from Forum.
If we lost points what we earned then there is no meaning to participation. I did't mean that I am participating only for points but at the same time gives us kind of satisfaction and appreciation from some one who needs our suggestions. Rewards and appreciation is helpful to promote active participation and contribution of individual growth as well as the forum.
I have no clue what is happening here. Please look into the issue and fix.
Thanks,
Sudhakar

Please look at your reputation tab.
The forum differentiates between life time points, that never reduce (except a moderator unassigns points because of answering a basic question)
and points earned within the last 365 days.
the points earned in the last 365 days are displayed next to your name and when you hover with the mouse over your name. This is your current status, the status of your activities in the last 365 days. And they will reduce with any new day if you do not make equally or more new points.

Hi Jurgen,
Thanks for information.
"And they will reduce with any new day if you do not make equally or more new points."
If I go by your statement, the points will be keep reduced or slowly become zero for the 365 days rolling if not points earned.
Now i will keep tab of life time points to keep watch how it is being maintained.
Thanks,
Sudhakar
Hi,
I do agree with Sudhakar. Even i am loosing points very frequently. I also observed that few members are getting marks for the questions they answered few years back. This will have impact on current year marks.
As Sudhakar highlighted we are not here only for marks. But, rewards are always a motivation for everyone.
Hope someone will take care of it.
Regards, Sai Krishna.
