We are in the middle of a new implementation for a customer and they want to use Fiori, but have the apps filter data based on plant/site. From what I've read online this cannot be done without changing the app code to allow the filtering, is that correct?
Also, I thought perhaps we could use the filter bar to allow users to filter the output on their own, but some apps (Orders from Requisitions for example) do not have a filter bar implemented. Can the filter bar be added easily, or would that require a code rewrite as well?
Request clarification before answering.
I was able to use the table header to implement a filter on the table data. It now filters nicely based on site data.

Hello Tim,
Good to hear that you have achieved the Filter bar functionality. Need help in understanding few things.
1) Can user select the plant values for filtering?
2) Have you used any extension points to achieve this or modification?
3) can you provide little more details on how to achieve this filter?
Thanks in Advance.
