Failed to load the PDF document - Link at PI Monitoring doesn't work

Hello Colleagues,

if I try to open the Link "View Document" under:

Whitepaper: Central PI Monitoring in Technical Monitoring workcenter of SAP Solution Manager

URL: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-3221

I get the error: Fehler beim laden des PDF-Dokuments

Hello,

This is a problem related to your PDF reader, especially if you have both Adobe Reader and Acrobat installed. When I get this error ("Cannot use Adobe Reader to view PDf in your web browser. Reader will now exit. Please exit your browser and try again"), I just click Cancel and the PDF appears in the browser window.

You should also try to try to set your PDF Reader/Writer so that it doesn't "view in web browser or use another add-on to view PDFs in the browser.

Hello Jason,

many thanks for your support! Indeed, you are right, the PDF document is available.

I tried with a different (MS IE) browser. Maybe something wrong at Google Chrome? For different other PDF's I am able to open it without any problems. Dosen't matter.
