Export/view as PDF

Currently there is View as PDF option in the old SCN, which I use to save files for reading offline (e.g. on e-book reader).

I noticed that this is not available at all in the new SCN.

Are there plans to introduce it in the new platform?

The current export functionality is a superior option compared to printing the document.

Print / Print preview

Firefox ESR 45.1.1/Pale Moon 26.2.2

  • New SCN:

Only the first page of the blog is shown, the rest of the content is missing.

From the second page starts the comments section, which is complete and at last - blank pages with a grey rectangle at the bottom - in my case 15 out of 21.

  • Old SCN:

No issues - all pages are shown correctly.

IE11:

No issues - all pages are shown correctly in both platforms.

I am not sure if this posts falls into the feedback or bug category, probably it is both.

Hello Veselina,

The ability to convert to PDF is mostly for printing purposes right?

Regards,

Moshe

I don't really print on paper, this is an easy way to load files on my Kindle for offline reading when I am traveling.

Hi Veselina,

I think this functionality will be good for both use cases.

We will add it to our road map but we will have to address features with higher priority first.

Thanks again,

Moshe

Hi Moshe

Some users also mentioned that the threads discussing legal changes in the payroll can be really huge and they used to export those threads to PDF. It would be nice to have the export also for threads.
