Error: Object requested is currently locked by user - Tcode VT01N

Hi all,

I am supporting for SAP system

When I creating mass Shipment in tcode  VT01N for about > 200 record

I just face with issue: Object requested is currently locked by user XXX

In details:

Message no. MC601

Diagnosis
A lock requested by calling an ENQUEUE function module cannot be set up because another SAP transaction is using the lock in question.

Technical Information: The C_ENQUEUE routine returned the following values:

COLLISION_OBJECT =  0803059280

COLLISION_UNAME = NHC1HC

System Response
The ENQUEUE function module triggers an appropriate exception. If this exception was not intercepted by the application program, this leads automatically to the active SAP transaction being cancelled.

Procedure
Look in the lock table to establish which user or transaction is using the requested lock (Tools -> Administration -> Monitor -> Lock entries). You may need to contact the user in question.

You can check the locks in SM12 and analyze the reason!

This is an error message type 'E' in screen and I just checked SM12 without any errors

I think some updates problem to create one shipment to other shipment! better to reduce the records and can you try it

If you dont see it in SM12 transaction, It must be a update error. Get in touch with your Basis consultants, They can help you sort this out

This issue come from the SAP program code. This an error message . . .

After get an error, I can not get any update in log SM12.

May be I will log to SAP support . ..

Hi,

If same document is process with multiple user the error will occur, kindly check and log in SM12 transaction and kill it.
