This morning I suddenly found several emails from SAP Community (replies to my posts) in my Inbox. I am aware where the notifications settings are maintained in the profile and they were definitely off before, except for DMs. But somehow all email notifications were switched on in my profile when I checked.
I turned this off already but why did this setting change all of a sudden?
Thank you.
Request clarification before answering.
Hi Jelena,
Perhaps related to this change in some way?

Only a guess.
Cheers,

Yes, as I had noted in the post, we opted to turn these new notifications on by default to ensure no disruption to people who were receiving similar notifications in the past
As you can see in comments to my post, we have received reports that people are having trouble updating these new notifications. From what I've seen, if you experience these issues, please try refreshing the page. That should allow you to turn them on and off to meet your preferences. If you're still unable to update the notifications, please let me know.

To add to Jerry's 2nd paragraph:
If you clicked on a notification toggle and it wasn't visually updated, please note that it's just a UI issue. The toggle was in fact switched on or off, depending on the initial state when the page loaded. To check the actual state of the toggle, as Jerry mentioned, simply reload the Communications page.
