editing the question posted

can anyone tell me how to edit a question once posted in the forum and even how to delete a question, if posted under wrong topic by mistake.

These functions are disabled for normal users, although moderators have the authorization to edit and move contents. You could post a comment to your own thread requesting moderator help or better still copy the link url, name of forum and a request for the move, sending it to sdn@sap.com where it will be re-routed to forum moderators.

So this means I will have to mail SAP in case i end up in a scenario that i mentioned above.

Unless you have super-powers :-). You could, in your own thread make your corrections yourself as an additional message. But a move is a request for an administrator or moderator. Gali spearheads most of the forum activity for these requests.
