Could you please let me know how to edit the discussions which i have been posted ?

Hi Goutham,

You can only edit your discussion before any replies are posted to it (edit button appears in the actions box).  After a reply is posted, you can no longer edit your discussion. 

Please note that is active: do not create multiple discussions the same.

Close as in delete or lock?

Deleting threads are at the discretion of the moderators: if valuable content that can benefit other members was shared, it would be inappropriate to delete the thread and lose that information. 

May I ask the reason for your query?

Hi Goutam,

Close the thread : When you select/click on  correct answer option(for every reply you will see helpful answer and correct answer buttons), thread was closed. Even no one answered exact answer and if you got helpful answers, you can choose assumed asnwer. that also makes thread as closed.

Questions marked "Assumed Answered" will still show as open in your list of postings.  Jason confirmed this yesterday in this thread.

Yes: "Assumed Answered" still show up as Open Questions by design. Technically, no correct answer has been marked for these.

Just Google all these thing close/edit everything must be ask by someone else already. Please now on firstly do Google i am sure you will got all the answer if your query is not so unique otherwise all people on SCN always ready to help.

Hi Goutham,

I suppose there would be an edit link available in your posts. I would suggest you to first try it out as you have not been involved in any of the discussions in SCN.
