my discussion located in the coffee corner is not visible in my profile under "Content". But since the content lists only answers, questions and blogs and not discussions/articles, maybe this is one of the features that aren't implemented yet?

correct. This is a bug, just spoke with Michael, it will be resolved from next week on.
