Core users are those who live inside the Earth's core - they run a factory there and makes sure the process works fine so that the Earth's Magnetosphere is stable. The End-Users meanwhile are the angry men and women on the crust who likes to use everything and usually raises tickets when something's wrong. These two doesn't really get along really well. Core users don't like being called dwarves.

The "Comment" field is not mandatory!

Together with faked CV's and faulty customizing, these "k" and "asdf" posts are one of my pet hates...

Hope 2010 starts off better for you than how 2009 ended! Chances are fairly good...

If he is your cousin, then should that not be our uncle??

Anyway, to answer the question: A "core user" is someone who looks into ST22 after eating lots of maize corn.

Just mention on the CV that it was a "confidential and solo" assignment, mention the dates when it happened (I don't think that anyone can seriously vouch to have 2 years of experience with this) and that he cannot provide details because he was on his own at the time.

If your uncle was at any of the same meals, then he will not ask any questions or doubt the references

Cheers,

Julius

ps: I think you should say sorry to Lakshmipathi!

Maybe not ..... if it is his cousin's uncle, then it is possible that it is the OP's father that has the vacancy!

Or if the cousin is the son of his aunt and her husband is not considered an "uncle".

But, [you never know for sure|http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CDgVM8Lqe3I] when you are faking family CV's...

Pity that Sri didn't just say sorry to Lakshmipathi and take a new years resolution...

I'm sure I encountered this story on SAPFans a few years ago...

Perhaps "my cousin's resume" and "my uncle's company" is a popular substitute for "me, myself and I" ...

Sri didn't just say sorry to Lakshmipathi

Probably, he should learn this courtesy when things went wrong (

@ Lakshimpathi: It is somewhere in the grey expanse between courtesy and damage control.

@ Matt: Coincidence that 2006 was 4 years ago? 2 + 2 years experience is exactly what the uncle is asking for! Perhaps this whole thing is not fake after all, and they (Sri and Nisarg) have finished the installation now... ready to start on the config era!

Matt, I remember that post from nisarg's uncle (see sapfans link).... too funny!

I had a good laugh at that "My uncle..." tactic as well. A lot of similarities...

I also investigated PoD and his Guestbook once before when considering what to do, and what not to do, with the SDN RTFM forum idea and found "sfvenkitu".

I am drafting a blog on my thoughts and observations during the SDN "Santa mode" cleanup of the security forum. "sfvenkitu" gets a special mention.

Its okay. Being a Moderator, at times, we have to tolerate these sort of non-senses !!!!!!!

The core user works with the center of the apple whilst the end user must make do with the stem. Probably better to be an apple user.

Are you sure you're in the right forum? Shouldn't this be in ?

The uncle does not know what his nephew did the last 4 years but would give him a job nevertheless even with a faked resume written by his cousin...

Man, you have a strange family !

Happy New Year for the Same !

PS : I hope the uncle does not read SDN forums...

Well, either he hasn't got the required experience or he hasn't heard of the term core user before. Nothing to be ashamed of because I didn't hear it before. One thing I came across using [google (in Dutch)|http://www.google.nl/search?hl=nl&safe=off&q=%22core+user%22&btnG=Zoeken&meta=&aq=f&oq=] was [Cor Euser|http://www.coreuser.nl/] but I doubt if that will help.

If your cousin has at least four years experience in SAP (the 2+2 requested) he should put that in his resume in chronological order. If not, this thread was rightfully moved to the Coffee Corner.

Better to keep quiet.

Yes certainly I am not interested and that is why I did my duty just by moving the thread to correct forum without replying. First of all, please try to learn how to write in a public forum like this.

thanks
