CR2008 sp 6 runtime Application Errors on Windows 8 and Server2012

I write custom software in clarion that interfaces with crystal reports using the CRRuntime_12_6_mlb.msi runtime package.

We use the version inside CrystalClearDemoC63.zip

I'm finding multiple faults when I run on Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012

Where should I start?

FYI we resolved this issue by using version 13_8 of the runtime package.
