When posting a question (like right now) I can see "Saving Draft" message float up occasionally.
There are so many complaints about random "internal error" messages and comments/answers getting lost when submitting them. Why can't SCN simply save the drafts in such cases? Or shouldn't it verify if posting is possible before leaving the page?
Thank you.

I'm checking to see if this has been submitted in Idea Place or addressed elsewhere. Also checking with the Q&A leads.

As we celebrate the anniversary of this question - is there any update on this? Just yesterday I lost a rather long comment for unknown reason. Not sure if I accidentally clicked on something or moved my mouse but one second I'm typing and the other the comment field just disappears. No draft saved.
Would be also nice to get a "data loss confirmation" popup when you're in the middle of typing and accidentally hit Close.
I'm still dutifully doing Ctrl-A/Ctrl-C before hitting the Submit button though. 🙂
