I'm was about to write 3 part blog series and now I see that there is no copy+paste option for image into the blog instead each image file has to uploaded individually. (In my case I might have ~100 image across my 3 part blog series and I have all of them as screenshots in Snagit and not as saved files).
Is there any workaround?

Indeed the feature is not supported. Why don't you submit an improvement proposal through SAP Customer Influence program in the SAP Community project? If you do, make sure to share the link to the proposal, so we can vote it up.
