That was me.

When people cross post a multiple of times, I lock the threads and reject the first question-post via the abuse reports system (it automatically sends them a nasty mail about the forum rules). I try to catch them early (before answers) but it is not always possible. If there already are answers, then they are looked at (but sometimes also just bad luck if the person was responding to all the cross posted questions, perhaps in the hope of the unmentionables... ).

After using the abuse reports for a while, and helping the mods with keeping the forums clean, I also equalize the posts every now and again. This happens to be one of them.

You had put in an effort, and christmas is around the corner... so I clicked around a bit before applying the locks and chains to the misuser
