Hi,
I had a good laugh this morning when reading [Note 518893 - Known problems with spool and printing|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/518893]
Here is the fun extract :
>!!PLEASE DO NOT SPREAD THIS INFORMATION TO CUSTOMERS OR PARTNERS, THIS NOTE IS FOR INTERNAL USE ONLY!!
Someone has missed something !
By the way, I don't see anything secret in this list.
Olivier
Request clarification before answering.
I am not even worried about the note or it's contents. I am more worried about who goes looking for notes on spooling and printing at 7am ?!?!?!? hahaha

Actually, the latest thing I heard is:
In order to promote a more sustainable SAP Netweaver system, the printer and spooler functions have been removed. Elminating all hard copies will provide a reduced carbon footprint.
In addition all end-user transaction codes have been removed, and instead you will need to use SE16 and SM30 to edit all data in the system. This will reduce the uncessary lines of code in the system and elminate uncessary electricity usage.
We appreciate your understanding as we make the SAP Netweaver fit under the allowed carbon caps.
Take care,
Stephen
Did you think of publishing it on wikileaks first?

This would be a first time for the Coffee Corner to have an èmäil chain thread...
Send me the döks ürgènt, ürgènt
If Olivier says that there is nothing special in it, then I think we can all go back to work and wait for it to be released as a version: once the owner of the note has completed it's original (probably "central" note) requirement.
Some changes require time or even major release upgrades to be implemented, otherwise the Coffee Corner might be disturbed during the afternoon chat session by some unexpected feature...
Cheers,
Julius
You leaked it!!!!!!
I get error.
An SAP note with the number requested could not be found

> Well, it seems that the "leak" has been corrected.
The note is not longer available outside SAP.

I really like your kind of humor. But I talked to the owner of that note and he decided that it was not intended to release it in that version you have seen.
So thanks for pointing us to that note.

Sorry, I don't get your point. The SAP Note mentioned by Olivier has an explicit statement in it that it was intended to be an SAP internal Note. The note you are linking to has no such statement.
