Communication Preferences unable to change

Hi Guys,

I have tried to update my communication preferences, but I can't change any other option than the top choice, 'Comments and answers to my questions and questions I follow' .

If I try to change any other option, then the first one turns off and won't turn back on.

Does anyone else see this bug?

Hi Neil - it does work for me. Maybe it helps to log off, log back in again?

It's a UI bug. In fact every click counts and updates the preferences properly. Unfortunately the toggles behave a bit chaotically sometimes and don't show the up-to-date status of the toggle. Refreshing the page will always show the correct state. You can try and allow a few seconds between clicking the first one you want to change and the second and so forth. 5secs should be enough. This way you might be able to avoid the issue altogether.

It is now working. I did try it using a different browser (Edge) and it worked, so I tried it again in Chrome after logging out anyway.
It could have been your suggestion to log out that made it work in Chrome, or change to the preferences from Edge that reflected in Chrome.
Either way, problem solved. Thanks.
