Hello!
This could be a good job for the United Nations ....
Harmonizing the change from Summer- to Winter-Time
Germany will change from summer- to wintertime on October 25, 2009.
USA/Canada will will follow on November 01, 2009.
Example:
Now:
17:00h (CET) releates to 11:00h (Eastern time)
17:00h (CET) releates to 08:00h (Pacific time)
for the time period October 25 to November 1 (one week only)
16:00h (CET) releates to 11:00h (Eastern time)
16:00h (CET) releates to 08:00h (Pacific time)
or
17:00h (CET) releates to 12:00h (Eastern time)
17:00h (CET) releates to 09:00h (Pacific time)
For other countries please check: [http://www.worldtimezone.com/daylight.html|http://www.worldtimezone.com/daylight.html]
Iu2019m sure this will again cause chaos with the meetings we have in this particular week.
Why is it not possible to switch from summer- to winter-time at the same date?
Request clarification before answering.
Yes, this would be the solution.
