Hi,
Our IP have changed from private ip to public due to some issues on our vpn in the OSS. So our router string has changed to /H/public/S/3299/H, but when I've tried to open the connection from OSS, it says that the host did not respond. I've test the RFC connection from the sap system and it looks ok if using the private ip ( /H/private/S/3299/H/saperv2/S/3299/H ) but has an error if I changed it to public.
Does this means that we need to change our firewall settings? We've disabled icmp and telnet to public ip due to security.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Any SAP router will have a local IP as well as public IP. If you are accessing SAPOSS connection from any of your server, then the SAP router string should contain the local IP.
What do u mean by Our IP have changed from private ip to public due to some issues ?
You cannot use the public IP in the router string as it is only used by SAP to connect to your systems.
From internal systems, if you are connecting then you have to use private IP.
Cheeers....,
