Can we see currently logged SCN Users in SCN

Can we see currently logged SCN Users in particular category of SCN

Nope.

There used to be a link in this forums area that woudl let you see how many people were accessing the forums at that time. I remember Mark Finnern and some others making a contest of it to see who could spot the first time we passed 1000 simultaneous people, but that was some years ago. Given that we have times where the site peaks at 12-13 thousand simultaneous users on occassion, that would be a very long list to presnt.

Am thinking - just that, thinking! - it would be awesome though if SCN could take what we currently call the "favorite user" concept of the business card, basically a concept of following somebody similar to other social networking sites into consideration and show me who's online from my network, possibly even with the ability to then chat with those folks or so.

That certainly wouldn't be thousands of folks, it would in fact be very similar to the Facebook chat, at the bottom of all Facebook pages I think.
