Can't insert an image into a blog

Tried creating a blog this morning and I can't insert an image. I click the 'Insert Image' icon, select my photo (.jpg file less than 1MB), and when I hover over the 'Insert Image' button I see a red circle with a line through it.  I've tried everything I can think of but I can't get it to work. I've posted many, many blogs in the past with many images and have never had an issue. Has something changed in SCN? Please help, I need to post a blog today!

Thanks for your response! Solution 1 worked using Chrome. It did not work in Explorer.

Solution 2 did not work in Chrome or Explorer (tried that first)

Solution 3 I didn't try.

Solution 4 i did not understand

Clear browser cookies , restart the browser and then try.

I hope you should able to insert images then.

Thanks for your response but unfortunately that didn't work in Explorer or Chrome.

try it with a .png file. this helped me in an earlier case.
