Yesterday I attempted to create a question with the primary tag Governance risk and compliance, and I deliberately misspelled compliance to see if the tag would be found anyway with the first two words spelled correctly. I was also curious to see if it would find similar questions already asked. It never did find any tag or any similar questions, and after 35 minutes of searching, I stopped it.
On my work computer I used our one and only browser, IE11, and on my home laptop, I used Chrome. The behavior was the same on both. Both are on Windows 7.

Hello Gretchen, What you are after is a kind of auto correct? That even if you mispell it will find you the similar question and tag?

Moshe

Moshe,
I was expecting it to suggest the correct primary tag once it recognized the word Governance, or suggest the closest match, since only one word was misspelled. We get a lot of misspellings in our space; if they have to type out the tag and spell all the words correctly, it could be a challenge.
Thanks,
Gretchen
Hello Gretchen,
This sounds like a great feedback.
I've added it to our feedback list where you can follow-up on it status: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-62882

Hello, Gretchen:
Thank you for this important suggestion. We agree that this feature would help users, but due to the complexity of implementing this functionality (and our current commitments), we can't add to our list of priorities at the moment.
We will, however, add this idea to our list of potential future features that we will reconsider further down the road. Again, thanks a lot for your feedback.
Moshe
