bo_object business_partner missing in TCode xo80

Hello SAP-folks,

in tcode BP double-clicking an existing bp or add a new BP leads to a dump pointing to an initial b_o_object by coding line "assert ls_bo_type_data is not initial."

While looking for solutions I stumpled over tcode xo80 which is comparing to another system totally empty. BO object business_partner does not exist.

I guess that this is the root cause for this mess.

btw: we went from EHP5 release 7.02 to EHP6 r. 7.31

Note 1555393 didn't help out since it is valid only untill

All Support Package Levels

We are at 606. Is it possible that they need to extend the valid release to ours or what might be the solution here?

Solved by workaround.

I had a reference system where bp is working with release 7.31 whereby I configured the other system.

In xo80 you have to switch to SAP mode to be able to add a new business_partner otherwise it won't allow because of naming conventions.

Furthermore I exported a xml-file from that bo-object within the xo_cockpit and was able to compare it to the system where bp is working. There I could get hold of all the tables involved which I synchronized by "brute-force" by se16n table by table.

At the end I had an working bp at last.
