Which Bengaluru are you talking about?
A city that winds up by 10PM?
A city where restaurants and bars are shut down by 11?
A city where transportation after 11PM is not an option?
A city where Discotheques and Live Bands are banned?
A city who's Chief Minister is against Pub Culture and refuses to take action against hooligans who beat up party-goers?
pk
Bengaluru is a good city to enjoy and get the most of entertainment.
I was once placed for a project in Bengaluru and that was one of my best time of enjoyment.
Brigade Road 'Peecose' 'DownTown' & one more gud spot 'Purple Haze' & 'TGIFriday'...wow..love these places and hope to spend some time there whenever i get an oppurtunity..
Hope these places exists now.;) (because XXX is ruling Karnataka)..
Cheers
Andrew
Well you must have been here about 10 years ago
Pecos is my favourite hang-out place in Bangalore. DownTown still exists, but I feel its gone down the drain.
Purple Haze(with a new one in Koramangala) and TGIF also still exists, despite the new government. Thank God for that.
One notable new addtion to the city has been Hard Rock Cafe. 13th Floor is also a pretty good place.
Bangalore does have a few good places to hang-out, but the law-makers squeeze the fun out of it all

Ofcourse i was talking about 5 years back..
Thanks for the list updation kishan..will try these 2 next time when i go there
But closing at 11pm as Vijay say is a thing to worry. My mind & soul & mouth open up only after 10pm.
dont say them law makers..say law breakers.. the trademark of Bengaluru has been destroyed and hope this will affect the IT hub a lot..Fun city indeed became a 'fun' city for the 'law breakers'..
Cheers
Andrew

Try searching for alternatives instead of cribbing on things which are not in our hands.
Believe me its more fun in exploring these alternatives than doing the same thing all the time.
(Edit : Alternatives : I mean Good Alternatives )
To be frank
The place where i am living is not at all good, no good restaurants. I didn't find some good food in Bangalore. Anyway i will be here(Bangalore) for not more than a month, I am happy that i am leaving soon this place. I really didn't like Bangalore overall. I completely agree with my Friend pk.
Cheers
Vijay

Well Pk....Banglore what ever you said is correct ....Completely agree with Vijay too
adding one more thing to bangalore is
A city which packs up by 10am...Horrible traffic....every small thing need to travel long Distance ...No security... ...No social realtion-ship's every thing Money Vs Time here..just appearing IndiaN IT hub also turning Another NY.Only one good thing about bangalore (Dont think girls ) is weather
Well...being stayed quite a time in some major parts of city ....Mumbai , Pune , delhi , Rajastan , chennai , Bangalore, Hyderabad.....i can say honestly...Hyderabad is the best place in this country...
In every aspects.....Full security , u can go Second show(movie which starts played round up 9pm we call second show) and u can travel as u like.....Every thing is in reasonable charges....All kinds of movies ( In bang hard to get hindi except multiplex) we can get.....all pubs open no restriction's....Delicous food...specially HYDERABAD BIRYANI( I can bet u can't obey this line)...so many cultural encouragement......Later i feel Pune is the best ....and rest of them follows ....

Empire was the only hotel who had guts enough to take the Karnataka police to the court and convince the judge that citizens do feel hunger after 10 PM and hence restaurants should be allowed to kept open even after 10PM, especially when they are not serving liqour!!
Im not contradicting my friend. Just saying that except for a handful of Empire restaurants you cant get anything to eat anywhere.
@Praveen: Thank you. I'll take all that freebie credits.
@Amit: Either you are back in India or you have given up sleep.
pk
Oh..So many..:-)
@Amit :- Love the answer yar....I dont know how only in hyd almost all the restaurants have nice biryani taste.. & Regarding crime...may be in ratio its high ..Varies on diff reason's..but if u visit u can understand( Hope u already did)..

>if we always stay heaven only we dont understand the value of the place yar...if we come apart some time we know what is real heaven....Just kidding :-)....

That's typical Indian views. Almost all crime has been blame to either Pub or bar!!?!!
The survey of university of Boston says out of 100 crime 83 crime been found by the persons who were not drunked.
Person who drunked is more conscious to keep reach/safe himself and you are expecting him to do a crime!?!
Also, scientists from [Harvard Medical School in Boston report |http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m1200/is_n23_v148/ai_17909398]that a cold beer provides the same heart benefits as the fruit of the vine
P.S.I'm Not encouraging for Liquor.
Either you are back in India or you have given up sleep.Yes, And Iu2019m Lucky enough that I survived in -25.6F.That was peak cold that I have seen.
Beer Please
Cheers,
Amit.

It is really interesting how subjective answers to this question are.
To me Cape Town is known as one of the cities of this world with the highest murder rates. Personally, if I were not killed there myself I'd be scared to death of being killed every moment if I had to live there.
But if you have your loved ones there and know the greatness of (safe) places, have your memory of better times and your ambitions to make it even a better place there's no doubt that Cape Town is the best place in the world.

In my Opinion Only one country which is Pakistan where you must found all above comfort at one place.
I Love Karachi most.Specially night life at Clifton Beach of Karachi.

Best place in the world is, of course, France.
When God created the Earth, he created the countries.
For the first countries, he practiced and the results were not perfect.
When he created the last country, all was perfect. The landscape was beautiful. There were rich plains and magnificent mountains. The climate was ideal.
God said : I have created the perfect country and it will be called France.
People from the other countries heard that and said to God :
"God, you have given all to the same country, it is not fair."
God thought about it and said "You are right, this is not fair, I will correct this situation".
And God created the French......
"And God created the French" is a book by Louis-Bernard Robitaille a journalist from Quebec who lived in France and had a lot of fun from us...
