Another way to Link to Digg

There is one other thing i would request when linking to Digg --- the ability to post a "Digg This" button directly on your blog. Here is the really easy tutorial for <a href="http://sandbox.sourcelabs.com/diggbutton/generate.php">it.</a>. It doesnt work on SDN cause the blog text area won't take all the HTML required. But it would be trivial ( i think?? ) for you guys to add similar input boxes to the blog creation screen that would generate the necessary script and iframes. That way people could just "Push the button, Frank," ( <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TV%27s_Frank">pop culture refernce link for those that didn't get that quote</a> ) directly from the Blog.

One step at a time

First we have those main links in there, inside of the Feedburner feeds are also several options. Now we have it and I'll be watching the activity of the feeds to help do some fine tuning and then we can start to expand into other things like a "Digg This" or a "Blog This" type buttons added to the blogs.

We're also looking into added it to the pages and content on SDN and not just the blogs but since there are so many little pieces we are moving slow as to not cause too much distruption all at once.

We don't want no sensory overloads you know.

I know my poor little brain can't handle all the stimuli at once :-). Good stuff figured someone was working in that direction, just wanted to make sure the two cents got posted someplace in the suggestion box.
