Alerting for thread closure

Is there any feature available for Alerting the user who created/started for thread closure? There are so many orphan threads of this category in our SCN community for which user can be alerted through mail or communications alert with in SCN.

If I understand correctly, you're asking for a notification for when the thread you opened is closed because it was marked as assumed answered or a reply was marked as correct.

First, new replies to your thread (or a thread you replied on) will send a notification to Communications, which can be syncronized with an eMail notification: . There is no notification sent when a thread is closed.

If you want to review the status of your threads, browse your authored content where you can see the status via the colored icons:

• Go to Browse - Content
• Select the authored filter (left side) for your threads
• Select the discussions filter (top)
• Apply further filters from the top for open and answered questions

You can so the same for threads you participated by selecting Participated on the left side. You may also see all threads from spaces your following by selection Following on the left side.
