Dear Aadil,
no, if at your company your email address registered is in real o'brian@test.com you cannot add the email ID as jamie.obrian@test.com as you will not receive the notifications. Unless your company has built in exceptions to your email address, if the spelling is incorrect, such as Obrian or O-brian, the email will still be delivered.

Hello Dragana,
Thank you for your response. I have gone through the articles provided, however they don't provide me a solution how to resolve this issue. At the same time I cannot advise the customer to change their email IDs.
Please can you confirm what can I advise to the customer. @dragana.manojlovic.
Can I add the email ID as jamie.obrian@test.com and the verification will be sent to jamie.o'brian@test.com

Aadil

Dear Aadil,
according to the format of an email address a email is considered as invalid if containing special characters before @and after @ like in your case O'Brian. In fact in that case you get an error that the email address is invalid. This special character is not allowed in email addresses. Please note you can also not add any space between O and Brian.
