Hi.

I'm testing already existing questions and I find that action context menu appears blank (No options)

Hi,

The reason why you don't see anything is that you do not have permissions to perform actions on that content item.

In general the rule is that moderator and original poster actions live under the action button menu.

If we'd put all the different options on the content itself, it would make it difficult to read and select, because of being too crowded.

We'll investigate the possibility to hide the action button if the user does not have permissions to perform any actions.

Best,

Gabi

That makes sense.

> logged in with the same user in both browsers?

No, different users at that time. So, no actions available displays a blank box.  Anything would be better than that - no box, a big red X, or a fortune cookie.

I see two users for Jim Spath...one is a User, the other is a Moderator.

Are you sure that you are logged in with the same user in both browsers? Only your moderator user is able to delete for example (your last screenshot), the other should not have any options to select from.

Hi Gabriella.

I've checked the same situation in coffee corner and as you explained, context menu is working with the following option:

It's working the same way in Firefox, Chrome and IE 11.
