about SAP ROUTER

Dears,

I`ve sent a cirtificate request to sap team with this information :

Isa server : isa01

IP : 92.253.126.220

after recieve the certificate file from sap team

I`m trying to install saprouter to my device , " not isa01 device " ,

and faced this error in cmd " trcfile dev_rout

no logging active "

this error occured after run this command " saprouter -r -S 3299 -K "p:< our distinguished name > " .

this is the data in  "saprouttab "  file : P 92.253.126.220 194.39.131.34 * .

what should i DO ???

Should I Install the saprouter on isa01 device .

NOTE : isa01 is the isa server in our company and my device is not in domain , where should i install saprouter ???

I want To ask if I must install the saprouter on solution manager server or not ????

becuase as  I read , I see that it need to save the saprouter file in this deirectory :

<drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\run

and another question :

the solution manager must have real IP to request the sap router cirtification or i need only to send them the ISA server IP .

Note : my solution manager server is out of domain .

Hi Rami,

it doesn't matter where you install the saprouter as long as your SAP systems have connectivity to it and it can speak to sapservX. It seems you are looking to install the saprouter using your internetconnection and SNC?

What I usually do is to create a saprouter directory on the server running the saprouter (DEV or Solution Manager) and copy the required files to it (saprouter.exe, sapevents.dll, SAP Crypto Library).

When registering your SAProuter with SAP AG, you need to provide a name for it (any name) and your official (external) IP address.
