Request clarification before answering.
The security market is okay in my opinion, and there is always a shortage of security folks with ABAP skills. Just like there is a shortage of ABAPers with security skills / awareness.
Unfortunately perhaps, it is a very wide area and like ABAP you cannot learn it overnight either.
But if you are willing to hang in there and steer in a secure direction, then I would recommend it.
Cheers,
Julius

a. depends on what position you are looking for: Consulting company, indpendent work, permanent position at a SAP customer.
b. depends on your ABAP skills and area of expertise. You are of course going to be "worth" more if you are up to speed (OO and WDA for example) and/or you have specific niche knowledge (ex. development with FSM)
c. flexibility...ie. what are you looking for? would you look outside your comfort zone a bit? where are you looking to work (if outside India)?
And keep in mind, that you are going to be up against folks with probably 5-15 yrs of ABAP experience out in the open market, so it's best to focus your goals and pursue those rather than "waiting to land any ABAP position". In other words, BE PROACTIVE.

Hi Navas,
If you have all those years of experience you may not have problems to find a work in Spain, if know spanish of course. But maybe this is not the best momento, maybe un a year or two.

As an ABAP developer with about 4 years of XP I can tell that in Spain you can find a job if you know spanish, but that probably it won't be a good job.
I am trying to get out of my actual job and I am not finding many good offers, there are some good job oportunities but maybe just for some months.
This is not a place to discuss job openings and market situations
