I found a thread on another forum which provided the following links

And this one is Tick-Tac-Toe, Hangman, and others.

If anyone has created an ABAP version of Grand Theft Auto please let me know !

You can join us on Friday around 17h00 at Paddy's to collect your beer, and see Matt's 1K ZX81 demonstrate on the wide screen how the ejector seat button works from the submarine...

Please avoid unnecessary code tags until SAP fixes this pain in the BDC processor... I changed your "quote" to a comment to make it readable again

There is a Soduko-cracker and Chess tucked away in the SDN blogs somewhere as well.

Considering the number of SDN members, I place a bet of 1 cup of coffee at odds of 1:1.400.000,00 that Blag will be next to post to this thread...

You owe me 1'400'000'000,00 cups of coffee. But I'll accept a beer.

Coffees are on the 5th floor. You might want to write a program to push the "Coffee" button each time after the event "Fertig".

Thanks for being gracious with the 1 beer. How about Friday at Paddy Reily's?

Cheers,

Julius

Friday's good... Back in the late 80's I remember an entire adventure game (see posting in "direction") developed for CICS. ( If you pronounce that the English way, it's also quite amusing ).

I didn't do Grandtheft Auto, but given the power of the average app server, it should run like a dream... Using some code provided by Richard Harper, which gave an automatically updating screen, I did write a game where you had a ship going from left to right across the top of the screen and a submarine moving randomly along the bottom. When you pressed a button a depth charge (of which there were two), would fall, and your job was to get the timing right to hit the sub.

I'd written the same game some 15 years earlier on the 1K ZX81...

This must have been 25 years ago, no?
