Hi All,
Im a recent user on SCN and participating continuously for past couple of weeks. My content is currently reviewed by moderator before it get posted. It has been good until four days back. I dont exactly remember but 2 or 3 discussion I raised, are pending for approval since 4 Sept. It has never taken so long. Besides, other contant where I posted as response are also pending.
Earlier it was a matter of 2-3 hours only. I have gained a good amount of knowledge before but feeling helpless for the past four days.
Is it usual behaviour ??? Im not even sure when this query would be posted
Regards,
Nitin
Hi Nitin,
SCN Moderators are volunteers and the length of time may vary depending on their availability the volume of content to review. The linked document above explains more about the process and please be assured that after you have completed some beginner missions to show that your intentions are legitimate, most of your content will not require moderation.
Thanks,
Jason

Thanks Jason,
I have gone through the link earlier and read it carefully. Still I want to know if there is any criteria for minimum point and how much are they to get rid of moderator review. Yes the task thing is good and I have completed whatever I could do.
Its not like that I want to see myself with more points but you know, sometimes it gets very frustrating when your queries takes several days to get approved and experts can provide suggestions. Sometimes, one know the solution but till the time content is approved, someone has already responded.
Just sharing my thought
Kind regards,
ntn
you are posting in QM space. In the people tab of this space you can see the moderators, and in the Bio tab of the people you can usually see when they were last logged in and sometimes where they live.
And this is the September calender of Israel:
and as you can see, there are 4 days in a row red or yellow for weekend and public holiday.
Hope this explains the situation a bit.
