xMII 12.0 Configuration

Hi,

I installed newly xMII 12.0 on Netweaver 7 Java stack. Now I am configuring scenarios between xMII and ERP (SAP 4.7). I am going through "SAP XMII 12.0 Configuration Guide".

Apart from this Guide is there any other configuration guide?

What configurations has to be done?

What are the different scenarios that can be configured in xMII?

Appericate if someone can reply to this.

Hi RAJU,

there is no difference between the ERP connection in 11.5 and 12.0 exept the possibility that you now can also use JRA instead of JCO. Look up the setup of JRA in the help.

For using the JCO in 12.0 you have to install the liberies on the xMII server as descriped in the help, then just configure the connector and use it in a Workbench Transaktion.

As there is no difference between 11.5 and 12.0 in this process you will find a lot of answers to your questions reading the help documentation and articles in the SDN. If you are a beginner with xMII I recommend to visit a xMII training course.

Hi, Martin/Raju:

As far as I know, there are some other substantial differences in ERP connection in 12.0 regarding the queuing and "guaranteed delivery" capabilities, in addition to JRA.

of course you are right. But in my oppion first get connected and then have a look at the new features like queuing.
