xMII 12.0 : CCMS Monitoring

Hello All,

Did any get to use the CCMS monitoring templates for monitoring xMII components? On the netweaver platform CCMS provides valuable eyes and ears to things happening at the component level and proactive monitoring of raising alerts on errors. The documentation( SNote: 1025997) states all this functionality will be supported for xMII also. Did anyone try it out during rampup?

I do not believe that xMII v12 has any application specific "hooks" into the CCMS system other than the basic NetWeaver health information. I am currently running through a full NW install and setting up an SLD & CCMS so maybe I can clarify some questions in the near future. Just wanted to let you know that this post isn't being ignored.

Hello Sam,

Thanks for the response. We are in the process of applying Sp14 on solution manager to get the MTE templates for xMII. We have good experience with CCMS monitoring and alerts with other Netweaver products like XI , Portal , NW. Based on the specs of SP14 we should be able to do assentially everything that typically is supported by CCMS.

I will keep you posted with our findings, but any help from your side would be greatly appreciated.
