Hello everyone.
I have generated a report wwi.
From word aplication I can not do file -> save as...
Can you help?
Thanks
Request clarification before answering.
hi
Can you please explain a little about for which object (MSDS,SOP etc.)you generated report?
Report generation will require your generation server up and running.
If you have generated the report, you can see the same report in Report information system and when you display the report, you can save the report as web page (MHTML format).

Thank you very much for the quick response.
This is what I do:
Process:
1 .- Master Data Set. tr. CGCZ. Set all flags. (only 1 time).
2 .- Creation of the model report tr. CG42. release the report model.
3 .- Creation of variant generation tr. CG2B. (TYPE SOP, Object WA). releasethe variant generation.
4 .- Access to Report Information System (CG54).
5 .- Specification (WA: one either).
6 .- <enter>
7 .- In the tree choose one either.
8 .- The word report appears, allows me to save as web page, but do not save as a word document.
I do not do anything about the build server.
Hello,
You see reports in report information system, which you have generated from different EHS workbench under defined report categories. My question is that from where and how exactly you "generated" the report (specification workbench, accident etc) ?
If report is "generated" with message "1 report has been generated" and status profiles for EHS document types are set properly, then you should get that "generated" report in CG54 under status "released". Open the document, and you should get option for saving.

hi
What I can understand is you are trying to display a SOP report for a Work area.
As you can see your report in cg54, that means the report is already generated and when you try to display the report, as far as I know you will get option as Save as Web page only.
In case if you want to generate your report in pdf format, please follow the below mentioned thread:

hi
I agree with Pavan,
When I open my report in cg54 and display the same and then when I go to Save as Web page a windows pop up message comes, there you give the file name and in Save as type you select as Word document.
This will save your report as Word document on your prefred location in your desktop.

Hello all
normally if a WWI report has been generated by use of EH&S you will not change the content of the report according to the procedure you describe.
Normally the content of the document should be either generated by use of standard WWI functionality and therefore a change of data in EH&S is the trigger to generate a new WWI document (not taking into account to toptic of the Inbound documents and that now it is possible to handl documents report in user defined texts within EH&S).
In any case: if WWI is used there are some optional parameter in ithe wwi.ini etc. If you change them you can edit the document etc.. Tehy are not wel documented.
Even if you do notuse this option: the generated ocuments are "rtf" documents (in most cases). These can be changed in any case.
To give you an example of a "potential" approach: if you use e.g. create report from template (not talking about the new options in ECC 6.0) the necessary documents are passed on from SAP to your local client. Depending on your local set up the documents are stored in windows normal folders (temporarily). In most cases you will find the documents in the "documents and setting" folder of your local windows user (you need to drill down a little bit). There you will find normally something like: *.wwi documents. If you open them in wordpad you can edit them.
Hope that this is what you are looking for.
With best regards
C.B.
Hello,
You have not "generated" the report; you have just "displayed" it or in other words you have got the "preview".
This was possible as basic WWI settings come implicit in SAP GUI ECC 6.0 installation and by defining local user word template as your WWI template (local wwi installation), you can get preview of the report.
To "generate" the report and hence to make it available as a document in "report information system" you have to install generation server. Please visit following link for more details.
