Dear Team,

I am creating the Emergency Card similar to Tremcard.

In that I wanted to enter the "Sate Of Matter"

In CG02BD, in "Sate Of Matter" value assignment, two values are maintained.

Value Assignment Instance 1: liquid

Value Assignment Instance 2: molten

I have tried following cobinations of report still these two words are appearing jointly in report viz. "liquidmolten"

Space , comma is not appaering between two words

<11BRG060(M,SAP_EHS_1013_001;)><01G1013001VA(P;/T',')[D:State of matter]><11ERG060>

<11BRG061(M,SAP_EHS_1013_001;)><01G1013001VA(;)[D:State of matter]><11ERG061>

<11BRG062(M,SAP_EHS_1013_001;)><01G1013001VA(;)[D:State of matter]><11ERG062>

<11BRG063(M,SAP_EHS_1013_001;)><01G1013001VA(P;)[D:State of matter]><11ERG063>

Pls guide.

Hello Amol,

Pavan's idea to add a paragraph mark is not bad but I think he used the wrong possition. It has not to be at the end it must be after the symbol and in front of the repeating group end like this:

<11BRG063(M,SAP_EHS_1013_001;)><01G1013001VA(P;)[D:State of matter]>

<11ERG063>

This will make each of the values to get printed in separate lines.

Just some small remarks about your examples

  • The symbol option for seperators i.e. /T',' will only work if a symbol contains multiple values within one instance.

  • The symbol option P tells WWI only that the phrase code shall be resolved as a phrase text and has no influence on

formatting. The option P is also the default so <G01G1013001VA(;)> or <G01G1013001VA(P;)> will return always the

phrase text.

Hi Michael,

I agree with you and that's what I meant as well (syntax for the symbol), may be I was not clear enough. Thanks for making it clear.

PS: Putting paragraph mark after the end of the repeating group will create extra line space after the last value.

Hi Amol,

from my perpective you will have a problem with the "," in between.

First of all my proposal is to set up a discrete expansion group around the symbol to get all instances printed.

But the problem with the "," is that you can set it as seperator between the first and the second but the system will set it as well after the last entry, so this will not look nice.

Eg: molten, liquid,

My proposal would be to print it in two lines e.g like:

- molten

- liquid

Best regards,

Hi Christoph,

Thanks for the reply.

I do agree that, following format looks good, but the requiremetn is that , report should be One Page so i do not have much space to accomodate following format and this wanted print liquid, molten

- molten

- liquid

can you pls guide more on this.

thanks

If you don't want a comma after your last value, you could try something like:

<11BRG063(M,SAP_EHS_1013_001;1)><01G1013001VA(P;)><11ERG063><11BRG063(M,SAP_EHS_1013_001;2-)>, <01G1013001VA(P;*)><11ERG063>

Hello Amol,

Put paragraph mark (by pressing enter) at the end of the syntax below

<11BRG063(M,SAP_EHS_1013_001;)><01G1013001VA(P;)D:State of matter><11ERG063>

This will make each of the values to get printed in separate lines.
