Work Item not appearing in Work Overview Tab in Incident Manager Role

Hello Experts,

I have a question related to appearance of Workitem in Work Overview tab of Incident Manager ID.

Earlier I had issue of Work flow not triggering because of not maintianing the "Maintain Prefix Number" in SWU3 transaction. Once adding the Prefix, Work flow got triggered when Incident Reporter sends the report. I can see this in SWEL.

I can see the workflow got processed forward as per the work item details info got from SWEL. Still I cannot see the work item appearing in Work Overview Tab.  The following Roles are provided to Incident Manager ID.

Kindly let me know if I have missed out on any Roles because of which am not seeing the work item in work overview tab.

Or any other configurations which I might have missed out, kindly let me know.

I Guess, Some authorization object is missing which you have copied in standard role like ZSAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_MANAGER

You need to assign some basic object for EHFND_WFT ((Workflow Tools) and EHFND_WFF (Workflow and Processes).

Ensure in your roles have the  S_USER_AGR (Activity 22 and role name ZSAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_MANAGER) to perform this task.

Hello Stephen & Balaji,

Appriciate your quick responses.

@Balaji : SAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_MANAGER  is already assigned to the user. So the issue is not to do with role mentioned.

@Edward : I have checked the configurations which you have mentioned. Since these are standard roles, Authorisation Objects were present.

The issue was acutaly related with Missing ADS settings which basis resource set later and also missing Agent in the workflow. I belive the workflow triggering from Incident Reporter should identify the role SAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_MANAGER and all the users who were assigned to this role should be considered in agents. This was not working as per my workflow consultant and he manually assigned this role as agents after which the workitem started appearing in Work overview.

Request to help me understand what might have gone wrong in the workflow.The skystem is now working properly.

Can you share the screen shot of Log of work item  by expanding them T.Code Swi1.

Hi Sudarsan

SAP_EHSM_HSS_INCIDENT_MANAGER roles Is enough to get the Work item Notifications to his in box


Check below setting for getting work item in to manager inbox


1) Expand the Show Qucik Criteria Maintenance  and in the “Show” field select New and Inprogress or new and click on apply button .
