Windows 32bit or 64bit going forward

Hi.

I have a question for the experts.

I have just downloaded NW70 SR3 and found out, that it can only be installed in Windows 64bit, unless doing some modifications.

I have also seen, that the comming versions of MII are supported on other NW versions.

So my question going forward, should I start moving away from Windows32 bit and start going for 64bit?

Poul,

Since MII is insulated from the operating system by the NetWeaver platform, the 32 / 64 bit Windows OS question really falls under the NW jurisdiction, and the formal combinations of OS and DB are found in the Product Availability Matrix at http://service.sap.com/pam

Jeremy, are there any issues running the UDS's on a 64 bit version of Windows?

you can check product supported by OS and DB on service.sap.com/pam
