PS: if you have not worked as an enduser with SAP software... your starting position ist not very good
Anyhow: you must understand mainly the "terms" as used in combination with SAP software (and terms are not easy to understand !)

Hi,
I believe the basic requirements are the overall understanding of SAP Processes and particularly the EHS portfolio. It will allow you to understand where this niche module can take you in terms of career progression.
Other than that, the best starting point is to have a look at foundational EHS courses on https://learning.sap.com/
The course that I did was https://learning.sap.com/learning-journeys/discover-the-environment-health-safety-modules-in-sap-s-4...
Have a look at it, it covers the basics of EHS. An EHS consultant is responsible for consulting, implementing, and providing solutions related to Environment, Health, and safety to different clients. In most of the cases, you may need to customize solutions as per business needs. Middle eastern countries like Qatar, KSA, Bahrain, and UAE focus a lot on these areas so it might be a good place to start. If you manage to work around different SAP solutions and understand the overall portfolio, you can get ample opportunities in this domain.
