What is the future for SAP Crystal Reports Server 2020?

We are a heavy user of Crystal Reports Server 2016 and Crystal Reports Server 2020.  Lately, we have been considering upgrading our remaining Crystal Reports Server 2016 instances to Crystal Reports Server 2020, based on the 2024 EOL dates for Crystal Reports Server 2020.  However, the EOL dates for Crystal Reports Server 2020 only get us a few more years.  Does SAP plan a new release of Crystal Reports Server, or is this the end of the roadmap for this product?

Here's an excerpt from a statement of direction blog post for SAP Analytics BI  that might help you with your planning.

"We plan to release the first version of SAP BusinessObjects BI 2025 in Q4 2024, followed by Support Packages every year. As per our standard maintenance policy, it will be supported until at least end of 2029 for mainstream maintenance, and 2031 for priority 1 support. To maximize the value for our customers, we will focus ongoing investments on the most-widely adopted SAP BusinessObjects BI solutions: SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence, single source .unx universes, SAP Crystal Reports, SAP Analysis for Microsoft Office, Lumira Designer and the SAP BusinessObjects BI platform."
