Hi SAP Lords,
We have been using the Extended Safety Stock methods AT which generate the safety stock based on forecast demand.We have maintained the Product master data settings including Safety stock method- AT, service level - 90%, Demand forecast error -5%, Replenishment Lead time error % and target days supply.
With the above product master data settings we are able to calculate Extended safety stock , but wanted to know the formula beind this calculation , as we need/can adjust the safety stock accordingly for each materail based on fast moving or slow moving products.
