We currently run 11.5. The biggest question we have before upgrading to version 12.1 is what are the hw/sw recommendations? Specifically, what version of Windows Server (2005, 2008, 32-bit, 64-bit), how much RAM, and what processor is recommended (not minimum requirements, but recommended).
Currently, we run Windows 2003 32-bit with 4GB of RAM and dual or quad processors. I understand that 12.1 requires a 64-bit OS. Is that true? Do we then need all new hardware and software to make this run?
Thanks,
Todd

Todd,
The links and info above should help you out. Going from 11.5 to 12.1 can be daunting if you don't do the research. The MII [Master guide |http://service.sap.com/instguides]points you in the right direction for MII and NW CE. It has the links above and many more. You will need to look at the master guide for NW CE since CE is installed and then MII.
Also keep in mind that there is a migration tool to make your transition of content an easier process.
Good luck,
Kevin
PS. MII 12.1 documentation is located on Service Marketplace under SAP Business Applications > SAP Manufacturing > MII > MII 12.1. Login is required. If you don't have it, you may need to talk with your Basis or SAP admins.

Hi Ram,
The correct approach is to use quicksizer to estimate the hardware based on the users. view below a comment in document.

We are in the process of having an SAP xMII questionnaire to be made part of the Quick Sizer tool. The best suggestion we can make on the sizing until we finish the work with the sizing team is to do the following:
