I am using cProjects 4.0. I was able to staff the HR resources using integration directly under Resources tab.
Now I installed WFM core and I am able to see an additional tab on the top called "Resource Planning". When clicked on the I am able to see Resource Overview, Demand and Assignments tables but with no data in them.
My question is what is the purpose of WFM and functions can it provide, can any one send a documentation on the same.
Thanks

Hi!

In order to see anything on Resource Overview, Demand and Assignments tables you must:
1. At first, for Business Partner maintain him/her availability and create for him/her Service Arrangement (use for this BSP Application COMM_SERV_PROVIDER or Portal). After that you may see him/her on Resource Overview table. Draw attention you must choose correct period for calculation of availability.
2. Demand Overview: create a project with a role, which in Role Type has parameter "staffed by" is set "Resource Manager via Authorization".
3. Only after correct 1 and 2 steps you can assign a person to project.
