Value assignment types to Risk Assessment

Hi all

I am trying to assign value assignment types to Risk Assessment, as a part of object type assignment to value assignment types. But i am getting following error.

Specify the key within the work area.

My functional objective is to create new tab in Risk Assessment similar to Incident Management and Work Areas.

Kindly give me solution on this.

Did you succeed to assign a new tab into the risk assessment area?

I try to do the same but it seems to be a difficult at first sight.

As discussed earlier in the thread, It is not possible to have new tab in Risk Assessment.

I too have had the same experience while trying to create user defined tab for "Risk assessment" screen. But, I am confused by the availability of the option of "Object Type Assignment" for "HAS", i.e, "Risk Assessment" in the configurations of "Configure tab pages" and "Assign value assignment types to classes".

What purpose does it solve to assign "HAS" at both the places?

Hello Pavan,

Its a programming error. Ideally system should not give you option for selecting Risk Assessment - There should be a correction note available.

Is there any option in Risk Assessment for creating additional fields through custom or configuration.

Hello Vikram,

What information you actually wish to capture in the "additional" fields?

From Enhancement pack 3, ECC 6.0 onwards, you get the option of "user defined text and documents" on risk assessment screen. See, whether this suffices your requirement.

I have seen additional fields along with user defined text and document attachment functionality after Enhancement Pack 3, but it is not able to suffice my requirements. As i have some specific new field requirements related to risk assessment.

Is there any way out.
